We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Manager to join us on a 6month maternity contract based in our Brussels office. Reporting to the EU Maintenance Manager you will take ownership for all stores and office locations across Belgium and Luxemburg and as such you'll work closely with both internal teams and external suppliers or vendors therefore strong communication skills are essential, as is fluency in both French and English. Manage and prioritise preventive and corrective maintenance requests across stores and Head Office, ensuring high‑quality execution through strong planning and organisation. Maintain a weekly store visit schedule to build a thorough understanding of each location and identify opportunities for process improvement through on‑site presence. Perform hands‑on maintenance tasks as needed (painting, drilling, minor carpentry, small repairs). Demonstrate strong responsiveness by proposing effective solutions and contributing to continuous maintenance improvement initiatives. Oversee and optimise daily monitoring of Service Channel and Coupa, including supplier creation and integration. Manage, track, and prepare maintenance budgets to support a positive impact on the P&L. Oversee and develop relationships with suppliers and service providers (control offices, maintenance companies, lifts/escalators, HVAC, etc.). Ensure follow‑up of inspection reports and completion of all regulatory checks. Manage store claims and serve as the main contact for insurance partners, landlords, tenants, and service providers. Lead calls for tenders to drive cost savings and diversify or enhance the supplier base. Maintain daily communication with service providers to build strong relationships, clarify requirements, and improve results—while ensuring alignment with stores and Head Office teams. Perform any other tasks or missions within your competencies as assigned by your hierarchy, on a temporary or permanent basis. Holder of a high school diploma or technical training degree Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a maintenance department, ideally within the retail, hospitality, entertainment sector or a specialised agency. Fluent in both French and English; Dutch is advantageous Air‑conditioning and electrician certifications are a strong advantage. Able to travel to store locations across Belgium and Luxembourg on a regular basis Strong time management, flexibility, and excellent capability to manage urgent situations quickly and effectively. Excellent professional writing skills, with a keen sense of organisation, attentive listening, and a strong service mindset towards store teams. Proven ability to be rigorous, autonomous, responsive, and highly adaptable. Outstanding interpersonal skills, allowing you to work confidently with stores, suppliers, and internal departments.
